What we provide

Collin County Foundation Guide provides general information about foundations and foundation repair and a free service that connects you with independent foundation repair companies. We are not a foundation repair contractor and do not perform, supervise or inspect any work. We are not engineers. See our referral disclosure.

Information only

Our guides are general information. Nothing on this site is an engineering opinion, a diagnosis of any home or a repair recommendation, and nothing here is legal, insurance or safety advice. For a diagnosis or repair design, hire a Texas-licensed professional engineer who is independent of any repair company. Foundation repair requires a city permit in the cities we cover; follow local requirements.

Referrals

When we connect you with a foundation repair company, any agreement for work is between you and that company. We may be paid a referral fee, and a referral or listing is not an endorsement. We don't guarantee availability, prices, workmanship, warranties or outcomes, and we aren't responsible for the acts or omissions of any company we refer you to. Check the company, the permit and the written warranty before work starts.

Your requests

When you send a request, you confirm that the information is accurate, that you're authorized to request work at the property, and that you agree to be contacted by us and by the foundation repair company we refer you to about your request, at the phone number you provide.

Acceptable use

Don't submit false or abusive requests, attempt to interfere with the site, or copy its content for commercial use without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we provide the site "as is" and aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from work carried out by a business we referred you to.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
